CreatorHQ is built to work without collecting your business data. Here's exactly what happens to your information in each version of the app.
Your clients, content, and invoice data is stored only in your browser's local storage, on your own device. It is never sent to a server — there's no account, no sign-up, and no backend for the app to talk to by default.
Clearing your browser's site data, switching browsers, or switching computers will remove this data. Use Export all (CSV) in the app to back it up first.
The desktop app stores your data in a local file on your device — again, nothing is sent to a server by default. If you choose to link a sync folder (for example, one inside iCloud Drive or Dropbox), the app writes its data file into that folder so your existing cloud-storage service can keep it up to date across your own devices. That sync is handled entirely by your existing cloud provider, not by us.
Some copies of the app may offer an optional "sign in to sync" feature for keeping data in step across devices without a shared folder. This is opt-in — if you don't use it, no account or email is ever created or contacted, aside from anything you choose to send us directly (like feedback).
If you use the in-app "Send feedback" feature, the message you write (and your email, if you choose to include one) is sent to us so we can read and respond to it. We don't use it for anything else.
This marketing website (the pages you're reading now, separate from the app itself) uses Vercel's built-in analytics to see aggregate traffic — page views and which links get clicked. It's cookieless and doesn't identify you individually. This is only on the marketing site; the app you actually use to track your business stays exactly as described above.
